I’m an 80s baby, and as a kid, Disney on Ice was my jam! I can remember it like it was yesterday. Going with my parents to see Mickey, Minnie, and all of their little friends. It didn’t matter the theme, just as long as they were skating on ice, dancing, and singing.
You didn’t hear this from me but…
#DisneyOnIce is for the kids and the parents.
It’s pure family fun!
I’m not certain if I’m the first to admit this or not, but I’m sure I won’t be the last. Mickey’s Search Party was a great night, and fun times were had by all, especially my little one! I surprised my son last night, with tickets to see his favorite guy, Mickey! He loves everyone else too, but not nearly as much as Mickey. He’s the kid who wakes up on Saturday mornings requesting to watch Mickey, as well as when he gets home from school. This past Saturday morning, he mentioned that he missed Mickey, and oh boy was I glad to hear that! He had no idea what I had in store.
As usual, Disney on Ice did not disappoint! We found ourselves singing, rocking to the music, clapping our hands, and stomping our feet to the beat! We rarely miss a Disney on Ice show, and I’m so glad we took this opportunity to see our Disney friends on opening night! There was a lot of audience participation and interaction, which is always exciting. It was a great show, and I highly recommend seeing it when it comes to your town. You definitely don’t want to miss it!
My personal favorites were being able to relive my childhood memories, and seeing Aladdin, the Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast. Of course my son, Bron enjoyed it even more. It’s been our mommy son tradition over the past few years.
…until next time #DisneyOnIce
We can’t wait until the next show!
